Yohan Blake, born on 26 December 1989, is a retired Jamaican sprinter who specialised in the 100-metre and 200-metre races. He won gold in the 100 metres at the 2011 World Athletics Championships as the youngest 100 metre world champion ever, and took silver in both the 100 and 200 metres at the 2012 London Olympic Games behind his training partner Usain Bolt. His personal bests of 9.69 seconds for 100 metres and 19.26 seconds for 200 metres make him the second-fastest man in history over both distances, behind only Bolt. He holds the Jamaican national junior record for the 100 metres and was among the youngest sprinters to break ten seconds. Glen Mills coached him until 2019.
