Yang Dingxin is a Chinese professional Go player born on October 19, 1998, in Zhengzhou, Henan province. He turned professional in 2008 at nine years and nine months old, setting a record at the time as the youngest professional Go player, and won the Ricoh Cup in 2012 at age thirteen. His first international title came in 2019 when he won the LG Cup, defeating Shi Yue two games to one in the final and earning promotion to 9 dan, and he has also won the Weifu Fangkai Cup, the Changqi Cup, three South-West Qiwang titles and the Tianyuan championship, reaching the number one ranking among Chinese players in September 2024.
