Wout van Aert is a Belgian professional cyclist who competes in both road racing and cyclo-cross. He won three consecutive UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships from 2016 to 2018, and on the road he has won Milan-San Remo, Paris-Roubaix and ten individual Tour de France stages, along with the Tour de France green points jersey in 2022. He took the silver medal in the road race at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and is regarded as one of the most versatile cyclists of his generation, competing successfully as a sprinter, time trialist and classics specialist.
