Wladimir Klitschko is a Ukrainian former professional boxer born March 25, 1976, in Semipalatinsk, Kazakh SSR, who won Olympic super heavyweight gold at the 1996 Atlanta Games before turning professional. He held unified heavyweight world titles, including the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts, for a record 4,382 days, made a record 23 successful heavyweight title defenses, and retired with a professional record of 64 wins, 53 by knockout, against 5 losses. His notable victories include David Haye, Ruslan Chagaev and Chris Byrd twice, he was later beaten by Anthony Joshua in 2017, and he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2021.
