Veronica Campbell Brown, born Veronica Campbell on 15 May 1982 in Clarks Town, Trelawny, is a retired Jamaican track and field sprinter who specialised in the 100 and 200 metres. An eight-time Olympic medallist, she is one of three women in history to win two consecutive Olympic 200 m gold medals, at the 2004 and 2008 Games. She won the 100 m at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics and the 200 m at the 2011 World Championships, and she collected seven silver medals and one bronze at the World Championships in her career, along with two world indoor 60 m titles. Her personal bests are 10.76 seconds for the 100 m and 21.74 seconds for the 200 m. She studied in the United States at Barton County Community College in Kansas and the University of Arkansas.
