Toulo de Graffenried

Toulo de Graffenried was a Swiss racing driver, born on 18 May 1914, who took part in the early years of the Formula One World Championship. The Jolpica results record lists 22 championship race starts for him between the 1950 British Grand Prix and the 1956 Italian Grand Prix. Most of those starts were in Maserati cars, with a spell in Alfa Romeo machinery during the 1951 season, including a fifth place at that year's Swiss Grand Prix. His best result was fourth place in the 1953 Belgian Grand Prix, and he also finished fifth in the 1953 Dutch and German Grands Prix. Across his career the record credits him with nine championship points. His entries ranged from Monaco, Silverstone and Bremgarten to Reims, Monza and the Argentine Grand Prix of 1954.
