Torsten Hallman, born in 1939, is a Swedish former professional motocross racer and business entrepreneur. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1959 to 1971, most prominently with the Husqvarna factory team, where he won four 250cc Motocross World Championships. He was one of a group of Swedish riders including Bill Nilsson, Rolf Tibblin and Sten Lundin who dominated motocross in the early 1960s, and his battles with the Belgian rider Joël Robert were among the best in the history of the championships. After racing he founded an off-road apparel company, helped introduce motocross to the United States, entered the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2000 and was named an FIM Legend in 2012.
