Terry Leahy, formally Thaddeus Leahy, was an Irish hurler who lived from 1917 until November 1988. He played hurling at various times with his local clubs Emeralds in Kilkenny and Faughs in Dublin, and he was a member of both the Kilkenny and Dublin senior inter-county teams from 1938 until 1949. He played his club hurling with the Emeralds club in Urlingford but enjoyed little success with it and never won a senior county title there, while with the Faughs club in Dublin he won county titles. He is identified here as the Kilkenny and Dublin hurler of the 1940s to tell him apart from other people of the same name.
