Tara Lipinski

Tara Kristen Lipinski is an American former competitive figure skater and sports broadcaster, born in 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who won the gold medal in ladies' singles at the 1998 Winter Olympics at age 15, becoming the youngest Olympic champion in the sport's history. She also won the 1997 World Figure Skating Championships and the 1997 U.S. National Championships, both as the youngest champion ever at age 14, was a two-time Grand Prix Final champion, and became the first woman to land a triple loop-triple loop combination in competition. She was inducted into the United States Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2013 as its youngest inductee, and since 2014 has worked as a figure skating commentator for NBC.
