Tadej Pogacar is a Slovenian professional road cyclist born September 21, 1998, nicknamed Pogi, who is considered one of the greatest cyclists of all time despite his relative youth. He has won five Tour de France titles, in 2020, 2021, 2024 and 2025, plus the 2024 Giro d'Italia, thirteen cycling Monuments including five runnings of Il Lombardia, and two UCI Road World Championships, in 2024 and 2025. In 2024 he became only the third male cyclist, after Eddy Merckx and Stephen Roche, to complete the Triple Crown of Cycling, and he has held the UCI men's road racing world number one ranking for a record total of 268 weeks, praised for an aggressive, attacking riding style.
