Svetislav Pešić is a basketball coach born on 28 August 1949 in Novi Sad, in the Južna Bačka region of present-day Serbia. The Olympedia database lists him with the role of coach and records his Olympic coaching results rather than any playing career. At the 1992 Summer Olympics he coached the men's basketball team entered by Germany, which finished in seventh place, and while Olympedia gives his nationality as Serbia and Montenegro for that Games, he later returned to the Olympic tournament in 2024 as the coach of the Serbian men's basketball team. At the 2024 Summer Olympics that Serbian team finished in third place and won the bronze medal, which makes him an Olympic medal winning coach more than three decades after his first Games.
