Sun Wen is a Chinese former professional footballer regarded as one of the greatest women's players of the twentieth century. A forward for the Chinese national team, she led China to the final of the 1999 Womens World Cup, where the team lost to the United States, and was jointly named FIFA Female Player of the Century alongside American forward Michelle Akers.
