Stéphane Chapuisat (born 28 June 1969) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a striker and is currently the sporting director of BSC Young Boys. A prolific goalscorer for both club and country, for which he appeared more than 100 times, he spent most of his career with the Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and is regarded as one of the best strikers the club has ever had. He represented Switzerland at the 1994 World Cup and at two European Championships, which made him one of the most recognisable Swiss players of his generation. After his playing career he moved into club administration in his home country, taking the sporting director role at Young Boys, the club whose management he now helps run.
