Ronald Stacey King was an American professional basketball player and sports announcer, born on January 29, 1967. He played as a center in the National Basketball Association and won three consecutive championships with the Chicago Bulls in 1991, 1992 and 1993. Before turning professional he played college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners, where he earned national player of the year honors in 1989. After his playing career ended he had a brief stint as a head coach in the Continental Basketball Association and then became the color commentator for the Bulls on their television broadcasts, a role he held from the 2006-07 season until his death on June 7, 2026.
