Silvio Moser was a racing driver from Switzerland, born on 24 April 1941 and died on 26 May 1974. He began racing in the early sixties in Alfa Romeos and moved to single seaters in 1964, winning the Temporada Series championship and doing well in European Formula Three. He debuted in Formula One on 15 July 1967 at the British Grand Prix in a Vogele Team Cooper-ATS, after trying to qualify for the 1966 German Grand Prix in a Formula Two Brabham. In total he entered 19 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, starting 12 and scoring three championship points. In 1970 he won the St. Ursanne-Les Rangiers and Kerenzerberg hillclimbs with the Bellasi team.
