Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins, drafted first overall in 2005. He has won the Stanley Cup three times, in 2009, 2016 and 2017, and is the third player in NHL history to win consecutive Conn Smythe Trophies as playoff MVP, in 2016 and 2017. An accomplished international competitor, he has also won Olympic gold medals and led Canada to multiple World Championship victories.
