Shota Arveladze

Shota Arveladze is a Georgian professional football manager and former player, born on 22 February 1973, who most recently coached the Turkish club Kasimpasa. As a player he appeared for Dinamo Tbilisi, Trabzonspor, Ajax, Rangers, AZ and Levante. He is Georgia's all-time top scorer, with 291 goals in 410 league games for his clubs and 26 goals in 61 games for the national team. His 27 goals in UEFA Cup competition, qualifiers included, rank third in the history of the tournament before it became the Europa League. He is described as having the best strike record in independent Georgian football and was nominated as the best player of Georgia as well as the best player in a survey by the Georgian professional football league.
