Shaul Paul Ladany (born 1936) is an Israeli racewalker, two-time Olympian and Holocaust survivor. He holds the world record in the 50-mile walk, 7 hours 23 minutes 50 seconds, and the Israeli national record in the 50-kilometre walk, 4 hours 17 minutes 7 seconds, and he is a former world champion in the 100-kilometre walk. He survived the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in 1944 at the age of eight and survived the Munich Massacre at the 1972 Olympics. He became a Professor of Industrial Engineering and Management at Ben Gurion University, has written over a dozen books and 120 scholarly papers, reportedly speaks nine languages and lives in Omer, Israel.
