Šárka Kašpárková is a Czech jumper, born in Karviná on 20 May 1971. She stood 186 centimetres tall and trained with ACC Brno and USK Praha. She took part in four Olympic Games: the 1992 Barcelona Games in the high jump, where she was eliminated in the first round while still representing Czechoslovakia, and then the triple jump for the Czech Republic in 1996, 2000 and 2004. Her peak came in Atlanta in 1996, where she won the bronze medal in the women's triple jump. In 1997 she became world champion in the triple jump in Athens, and she added world indoor bronze medals in 1997 and 1999, European Indoor silver medals in 1996 and 1998, a European Championships silver in 1998, and Universiade silver in 1993 and gold in 1995. Her personal bests were 15.20 metres in the triple jump, set in 1997, and 1.95 metres indoors in the high jump.
