Sabine Auken

Sabine Auken is a German bridge player born January 4, 1965, in Bamberg, Bavaria, who has also competed under her maiden name Sabine Zenkel. She won the Venice Cup, the world championship for women's bridge teams, twice, in 1995 and 2001, and has added further world titles in the World Bridge Games Open Pairs in 2016 and the World Bridge Series Mixed Teams in 2014, along with multiple European Team and Mixed Championships. She has also won fourteen North American Championships including the Vanderbilt Trophy in 2013 and the Spingold in 2016, was inducted into the European Bridge League Hall of Fame in 2018, and has been based in Denmark since 2007 while playing in Germany's top league for BC Munchen.
