Roy Jones Jr.

Roy Levesta Jones Jr. is an American former professional boxer, born in 1969, who won a silver medal in the light middleweight division at the 1988 Seoul Olympics before turning professional and winning world titles in five weight classes, from middleweight to heavyweight. He held the undisputed light heavyweight championship from 1999 to 2002 and, by winning a heavyweight title in 2003 after starting his career at junior middleweight, became only the second former middleweight champion to win a heavyweight title, 106 years after Bob Fitzsimmons. He finished his career with a record of 66 wins and 10 losses, was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring magazine in 1994, and won boxing's best boxer ESPY award three times.
