Ronda Jean Rousey is an American mixed martial artist, judoka and professional wrestler, born in 1987, who won a bronze medal in the women's 70 kilogram judo category at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, becoming the first American woman to medal in Olympic judo. She became the first female fighter signed by the UFC and the promotion's inaugural Women's Bantamweight Champion, defending the title a then-record six times, and was the first woman inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, in 2018. She is the only woman to become a champion in both the UFC and WWE and the only woman to headline pay per view events for both promotions.
