Ron-Robert Zieler, born in Cologne on 12 February 1989, is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He came through the youth ranks of 1. FC Köln before moving to England as a trainee with Manchester United in 2005, where he never played a competitive first-team match and made his debut on loan at Northampton Town in 2009. In 2010 he joined Hannover 96, making 221 professional appearances across six seasons and missing no Bundesliga game in his last five seasons there. He then spent a season at Leicester City, joined VfB Stuttgart in 2017 and returned to Hannover in 2019, and the source lists him at 1. FC Köln. A former German youth international who won the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, he made six appearances for the senior Germany team between 2011 and 2015 and was in the squads that reached the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2012 and won the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
