Roko Ukić

Roko Leni Ukić, born on 5 December 1984, is a Croatian former professional basketball player who stood 1.96 metres tall and played mainly as a point guard, with some time at shooting guard. He grew up in Split and began with the youth teams of KK Split in 1992, joining the senior side at sixteen and becoming its captain at seventeen. He won the Croatian League in 2003 and the Croatian Cup in 2004, then was selected 41st overall in the 2005 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors. His club career took him through Spain with Baskonia and Barcelona, Italy with Virtus Roma, the NBA with Toronto and Milwaukee, Turkey with Fenerbahçe, and Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague. For the Croatian national team he played at several EuroBasket tournaments, the 2008 and 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2010 FIBA World Championship, and served as captain from 2010.
