Rickson Gracie is a Brazilian martial artist and a son of Helio Gracie, one of the founders of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He retired with an undefeated 11-0 professional Vale Tudo and mixed martial arts record, headlining early Pride events in Japan against Nobuhiko Takada and helping popularize the sport there. Widely considered the strongest fighter in the Gracie family through the 1980s and 1990s, he reached the ninth degree red belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2017.
