Predrag Stojaković, known by his nickname Peja, was born on 9 June 1977 and is a Serbian former professional basketball player and basketball executive. He played for five teams in an NBA career that ran from 1998 to 2011, mostly as a small forward at 6 ft 10 in. He starred for the Sacramento Kings in the 2000s, was named an NBA All-Star three times and was a member of the 2004 All-NBA Second Team. He is regarded as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history, with 1,760 career three-point field goals, fourth all-time when he retired, and he won the NBA Three-Point Contest twice. He won an NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 and helped the senior FR Yugoslavian national team win gold at the 2001 EuroBasket and the 2002 FIBA World Championship. The Kings retired his number in 2014, and he has held several front office positions with the club.
