Pat Hartigan is an Irish former hurler, born in Drombanna, County Limerick, in 1950, who played club hurling for South Liberties and senior hurling and football for Limerick in the 1970s, and is regarded as one of Limerick's greatest players. After success with the Christian Brothers school at Sexton Street, including Harty Cup titles and an All-Ireland colleges title, he played a record six years with the Limerick under-21 hurlers. He won a National League medal in 1971, was named at full-back on the first All-Star team and won five successive All-Stars, and won his only All-Ireland medal in 1973, when Limerick also took the Munster title. With South Liberties he won county championships in 1972, 1976 and 1979, and he won two Railway Cup medals with Munster.
