Paddy Mackey, formally Patrick Mackey, was an Irish hurler who lived from 19 January 1920 until his death on 19 February 1941. His brief career included All-Ireland Championship success with the Limerick senior hurling team in 1940. He first played hurling for the Ahane club, winning one Limerick county championship medal in 1939, and with Limerick he won the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship and the Munster Senior Hurling Championship in 1940. He is identified here as the Ahane hurler of 1920 to tell him apart from other members of the Mackey family who hurled for Limerick.
