Track and Field Disciplines

Non Rhiannydd Stanford, born on 8 January 1989 in Bridgend, Wales, is a British former professional triathlete who represented Great Britain and Wales. She was the ITU World Champion in 2013 and part of the Great Britain mixed relay team that won the world title in 2012. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro she finished fourth, behind her teammate and housemate Vicky Holland. Recurrent injuries then hindered her, but in her final year of competition, 2022, she anchored Wales to silver in the team event at the Commonwealth Games, her first Commonwealth medal, and a week later won her first and only European championship in her last major Olympic distance race. She is based in Leeds, England.
