Nino Schurter is a Swiss cross-country mountain bike racer born May 13, 1986, in Tersnaus, who has won the men's cross-country world championship ten times between 2009 and 2022 and holds a record nine UCI Mountain Bike World Cup overall titles. He won Olympic gold in cross-country mountain biking at the 2016 Rio Games after taking silver in 2012 and bronze in 2008, and he has repeatedly won the Swiss national cross-country championship.
