Nicholas O'Shea was an Irish hurler who lived from 25 April 1864 until his death on 12 March 1912 and played as a midfielder for the Dublin senior team. He joined the team during the ill-fated 1888 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1890 championship, and during that time he won one All-Ireland medal and one Leinster medal. He is identified here as the Dublin midfielder of the late nineteenth century to tell him apart from other people of the same name.
