Ned Hayes, formally Edmond Hayes, was an Irish hurler who lived from 1875 until his death on 30 December 1945 and played as a forward for the Tipperary senior team. He made his first appearance for Tipperary during the 1899 championship and was a regular member of the starting team for the next few seasons, and during that time he won one All-Ireland medal and two Munster medals. He captained the team in 1900. He is identified here as the Tipperary forward of the 1890s and 1900s to tell him apart from other people of the same name.
