Natalia Ishchenko is a Russian former artistic swimmer, formerly known as synchronized swimming, and the most decorated athlete in the sport's history. She won five Olympic gold medals across three Games from 2008 to 2016 and a record number of world championship titles in both solo and team events. Her dominance across more than a decade made her one of the defining figures of the sport.
