Naseem Hamed, known as Prince Naseem, is a former professional boxer born February 12, 1974, in Sheffield, England, to Yemeni immigrant parents, who competed from 1992 to 2002. He held multiple featherweight world championships between 1995 and 2000, winning the WBO title in 1995 against Steve Robinson, the IBF title in 1997 against Tom Johnson, and the WBC title in 1999 against Cesar Soto, and he reigned as lineal featherweight champion from 1998 to 2001. His professional record stood at 36 wins, 31 by knockout, against a single loss, and he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2015.
