Nairo Quintana is a Colombian professional cyclist and a specialist climber known for sustained attacks on mountain stages. He won the Giro d'Italia in 2014 and the Vuelta a Espana in 2016, and finished on the podium of the Tour de France three times, including second place in 2013, the best Tour de France result by a Colombian or Latin American rider at the time. He has also won stage races including the Volta a Catalunya, Tour de Romandie and Tirreno-Adriatico, and rides for Movistar Team.
