Mujinga Kambundji

Mujinga Kambundji is a Swiss sprinter, born in 1992, who competes in the 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres. She is the Swiss national record holder in all three events, with times of 6.96 seconds in the 60 metres, 10.89 seconds in the 100 metres and 22.05 seconds in the 200 metres. Kambundji won the World Indoor Championship title in the 60 metres in both 2022 and 2025 and took bronze in the 200 metres at the 2019 World Championships. She has won four medals at the European Championships, including gold in the 200 metres in both 2022 and 2024, plus a silver and a bronze in the 100 metres, and has also medalled at the European Indoor Championships in the 60 metres. Kambundji has competed at four Olympic Games, in 2012, 2016, 2020 and 2024, representing Switzerland in sprint events across more than a decade at the top of the sport.
