Misty May-Treanor is an American beach volleyball player born July 30, 1977, in Los Angeles, widely regarded as one of the greatest beach volleyball players of all time. Partnering Kerri Walsh Jennings, she won three consecutive Olympic gold medals, at the 2004 Athens, 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Games, and the pair went unbeaten across all three tournaments without losing a single set. She also won numerous world championship and domestic tour titles over her career before retiring from competitive play after the 2012 Olympics and later moving into collegiate volleyball coaching.
