Mikaela Shiffrin is an American alpine skier and the most decorated American skier in World Championships history. She holds the record for most World Cup wins of any alpine skier and is the only one to reach one hundred career victories. She is a three time Olympic gold medalist, a four time Olympic medalist, an eight time World Championships gold medalist, a six time overall World Cup champion and a nine time winner of the World Cup slalom discipline title, and became the youngest Olympic slalom gold medalist in history in 2014 at eighteen years and 345 days old.
