Mick Lane, formally Michael Lane, is an Irish retired hurler, born in 1942 in Blackpool, Cork, who played as a right corner-back for the Cork senior team. He first arrived on the inter-county scene at seventeen with the Cork minor team, joined the senior panel during the 1966 championship and enjoyed a brief career with Cork, winning one All-Ireland medal and one Munster medal as a non-playing substitute in 1966. At club level he is a one-time Munster medallist with Glen Rovers, which won the Munster Senior Club Hurling Championship in 1964. He is identified here as the Cork hurler to tell him apart from other people of the same name.
