Mick King was an Irish hurler who lived from 1905 until his death on 15 March 1961. He played hurling with his local club Castlegar and with the Galway senior inter-county team from 1923 until 1935. He played his club hurling with Castlegar but enjoyed little success there, and in 2000 he was posthumously named on the Galway Hurling Team of the Millennium. He is identified here as the Castlegar hurler of the 1920s and 1930s to tell him apart from other people of the same name.
