Michael Bond is an Irish retired hurler, born in 1948 in Ardrahan, County Galway, who played as a centre-forward for the Galway senior team. He arrived on the inter-county scene at seventeen with the Galway minor team before joining the under-21 side, and he joined the senior panel during the 1968 championship. He was a regular member of the panel but ended his playing days without silverware, having made three championship appearances. At club level he was a three-time Connacht medallist with Ardrahan, winning the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship in 1974, 1975 and 1978 and the Galway Senior Club Hurling Championship in the same years. As a manager he later won the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship with Galway in 1983 and the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship with Offaly in 1998.
