Megan Rapinoe is an American former professional soccer player who starred as a forward and winger for the United States women's national team and for OL Reign. She helped the United States win the Women's World Cup in 2015 and 2019 and Olympic gold in 2012, and became widely known as a vocal advocate for equal pay in soccer and for LGBTQ rights, on and off the field.
