Max Everitt Rosenbloom (6 November 1906 to 6 March 1976) was an American professional boxer who also worked as an actor and television personality. Nicknamed Slapsy Maxie, he was billed as Slapsy Maxie Rosenbloom for his film appearances. His boxing career earned him a place in several halls of fame: The Ring's Boxing Hall of Fame in 1972, the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1984, the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1985 and the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1993. The lead of his source article also records a later induction into the National Jewish Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 2026.
