Martin Ronald Kelly, born on 27 April 1990, is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre-back or right-back. He began his career at Liverpool, where he made 62 appearances across all competitions from his debut in 2008 and won the League Cup in 2012. In 2014 he moved to Crystal Palace for a reported fee of 2 million pounds, and in 2022 he signed for West Bromwich Albion on a free transfer, later spending part of a season on loan at Wigan Athletic. He announced his retirement from football in October 2025. Kelly is best remembered internationally for a single appearance for England, a friendly against Norway on 26 May 2012 in which he played two minutes and thirty-nine seconds, the shortest international career of any England player. He was an unused member of the squad for UEFA Euro 2012.
