Manu Ginóbili

Manu Ginóbili, born Emanuel David Ginóbili Maccari on 28 July 1977 in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, is a basketball player who represented Argentina at four consecutive Summer Olympics. Standing 198 centimetres tall and listed at 91 kilograms, he was affiliated with the San Antonio Spurs in the United States. He was a member of the Argentine men's basketball team that won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and that took the bronze medal at the 2008 Games, which makes two Olympic medals in all. Argentina then finished fourth at the 2012 Games and eighth at the 2016 Games with him on the roster. He carried the flag of Argentina at the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
