Lennox Lewis

Lennox Claudius Lewis, born on 2 September 1965, is a boxing commentator and former professional boxer who fought as a heavyweight from 1989 to 2003. He was a three-time world champion, a two-time lineal champion and held the undisputed heavyweight championship, and he holds dual British and Canadian citizenship. Lewis represented Canada as an amateur at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics and won the super-heavyweight gold medal in 1988. As a professional he first took the European, British and Commonwealth titles, then became WBC champion in 1992 after Riddick Bowe gave up the belt. He unified the WBC, WBA and IBF titles against Evander Holyfield in 1999, beat Mike Tyson in 2002, and ended his career by stopping Vitali Klitschko in 2003 before retiring in February 2004. He is regarded by many as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
