Justin Gatlin

Justin Gatlin is a retired American sprinter, born in 1982, who competed in the 60 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters. He won the 100 meters at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 100 meters at the 2005 and 2017 World Championships, along with the 2005 200 meters and the 2019 4 x 100 meters relay. He is a five-time Olympic medallist, a twelve-time World Championship medallist and a three-time Diamond League champion in the 100 meters, with a personal best of 9.74 seconds. His career included bans for doping violations in 2001 and 2006, the second erasing a 9.77 second mark, and he returned to competition in 2010 and retired in 2022 on his 40th birthday.
