Jure Zdovc

Jure Zdovc, full name Jurij Zdovc, is a Slovenian basketball player, born on 13 December 1966 in Maribor. Olympedia lists him at 195 centimetres and 86 kilograms, with KK Union Olimpija of Ljubljana as his club affiliation. At the 1988 Summer Olympics he played in the men's basketball tournament for Yugoslavia, which finished second, so he holds an Olympic silver medal; Olympedia files him under the Yugoslav national olympic committee while recording his nationality as Slovenia. The same page lists him among Olympians who won a gold medal at the 1990 Basketball World Cup in Argentina and two EuroBasket gold medals with Yugoslavia, in 1989 and 1991.
