Julius Hirsch, born on 7 April 1892 and declared dead on 8 May 1945, was a German international footballer. He was Jewish and was executed at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust. He helped the Karlsruher FV win the 1910 German football championship, played for the Germany national team, including at the 1912 Summer Olympics, and then joined SpVgg Furth, with whom he won the 1914 German football championship. His story joins a successful sporting career with the persecution of Jewish people under the Nazi regime.
