Juan Bernat Velasco, known as Juan Bernat, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back. Born on 1 March 1993, he began his career at Valencia, where he featured in three La Liga campaigns, and moved to Bayern Munich in 2014. During four years in Germany he won the Bundesliga in every season and appeared in 115 competitive matches. In August 2018 he signed with Paris Saint-Germain and played in the 2020 UEFA Champions League final, which his side lost to his former club Bayern Munich. An anterior cruciate ligament injury in September 2020 kept him out for more than a year. After returning in 2021 he spent time on loan at Benfica and Villarreal before joining Getafe in 2025. Internationally he was a European champion with the Spanish under-19 team in 2012 and made his senior debut for Spain in 2014.
